ADGA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support an initiative focused on the development and delivery of a Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capability for the Canadian Armed Forces. The role involves leading project approval deliverables, coordinating meetings, managing risks, conducting options analysis, developing CONOPS, and liaising with stakeholders. The position contributes to the planning, execution, and implementation of a new defence capability in accordance with DND project approval processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide support to the development of project approval deliverables to meet project milestones;
  • Lead and coordinate meetings and briefings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items;
  • Manage risk, maintain the risk register, and coordinate risk reviews;
  • Conduct and coordinate options analysis to meet operational requirements;
  • Develop and coordinate concepts of operations (CONOPS) and use cases for the operational employment of C-UAS capabilities;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and information flow; and
  • Maintain force development records and ensure documentation is stored and organized according to departmental standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project or program management, preferably in defence, aerospace, engineering or complex technology environments
  • Ability to apply technical judgment to CONOPS, use cases, options analysis, and project approval activities involving aviation, uncrewed systems, and robotics.
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience as a Senior Project Manager/Leader o Managing projects with annual budgets over $1M, including financial, scope, schedule, and risk management
  • Stakeholder engagement, communications, and preparing technical and management documentation
  • Drafting correspondence, assessing deliverables, and preparing CDRLs and DIDs
  • Supporting stakeholder coordination and communications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience briefing senior or executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with operationalization of new technologies will be considered a strong asset.
  • A current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be considered a strong asset
