As project manager, you will be the guarantor of operational excellence and the main point of contact for clients, responsible for power line inspection projects for electricity grid operators in Spain. You will plan projects with technical teams and drone pilots, ensure compliance with standards, monitor operational and financial performance, and support drone pilots in the field. You will also stay updated on drone regulations and work with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Project management
- Plan the project, in collaboration with the technical teams in Sweden and the drone pilots in the country concerned by the project, to meet the technical specifications and the client's scheduling constraints
- Ensure compliance with the standards and procedures put in place by Airpelago
- Ensure the operational and financial monitoring of the project and propose corrective actions when necessary
- Set up smooth reporting mechanisms for the client and Airpelago's internal teams (Sales, Product, etc.)
- Provide support to the drone pilots deployed by Airpelago in the field and propose actions to improve their performance and their day-to-day working conditions
- Organize logistics to ensure that drone pilots have the equipment they need to deliver inspection services to the client
- Promote a culture of workplace safety and standards compliance within the organization and its service providers (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Regulatory compliance
- Stay informed and up to date on the latest drone regulations in the countries where projects take place, in order to guarantee the regulatory compliance of all our operations
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to anticipate and help shape the evolution of drone regulations
- Be the main point of contact for local aviation authorities and other airspace operators used by our pilots
Requirements
- An interest in project management in an industrial context
- Experience in project management involving the deployment of operations in an industrial context
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with technology tools and platforms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of aviation and drone-related technologies and regulations is a plus
