The Prime Air Maintenance Technician is responsible for drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring aircraft conform to design and are in safe operating condition. This role involves performing time-based and condition-based maintenance activities, managing fleet spare parts and inventory, and verifying adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives. The technician will work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams, and must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
- Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
- Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
- Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
- Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
- Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly
- Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Travel up to 25% of the time
- Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)
- 1+ years of in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including working outside in outdoor temperatures and refrigerated environments
- Can show a demonstrated record of good attendance and the ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts ### Preferred qualifications

- Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files

- The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
