Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician responsible for drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring aircraft conform to design and are in safe operating condition. The role involves driving time-based and condition-based maintenance activities, managing fleet spare parts, and verifying adherence to FAA regulations. The technician will work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams to deliver on assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
  • Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics
  • Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
  • Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
  • Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
  • Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals

Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly
  • Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.) ### Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
  • Experience in the aviation industry
  • Experience in business communication skills
  • Experience in Robotics and Manufacturing engineering
