Prime Air Sr. Maintenance Technician , Corporate Operations, Prime Air

Prime Air is seeking an experienced Sr. Repair Technician responsible for all drone maintenance and routine service at the commercial operation location, ensuring aircraft conform to design and are in safe operating conditions. The role involves working closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams, as well as training and qualifying the Repair Technician team. The technician will drive maintenance activities, own fleet performance metrics, verify FAA compliance, manage spare parts, and mentor other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Own fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Train and and mentor other Repair Technicians
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals

Requirements

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Travel up to 25% of the time ### Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of aviation industry experience
• Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
• Experience in business communication skills
• Experience in Robotics and Manufacturing engineering
