Reliability Engineer, PSO, Amazon Prime Air, Amazon Prime Air

The Reliability Engineer will drive development of system functionality and investigate issues to improve reliability within Amazon Prime Air's drone delivery operations. They will work with design engineering teams to identify and mitigate product risks, define test methodologies, and perform reliability predictions. The role involves leading cross-functional investigations, driving continuous improvement using data-driven insights, and communicating results to stakeholders. This position is part of the Product Support Organization Engineering team, focusing on improving fleet reliability.

Responsibilities

• - Investigate drone system performance for anomalies, deliver solutions to operations and maintenance team escalations
• - Lead cross-functional system investigations with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize drone system performance metrics, and drive improvements
• - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights to establish benchmark standards and reduce operational burden
• - Deliver measurable system behavior improvements based on data analysis that impacts customer experience, proactively engaging stakeholders to advocate for customers
• - Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience in robotics design, automation systems development, control systems design, or related product development
• Experience in data analysis and leveraging analytics to make decisions
• 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of issues ### Preferred qualifications
