This role is for a Senior Technical Program Manager within Amazon's Prime Air data collection organization. You will lead cross-functional program execution, partnering with engineers, TPMs, Operations Managers, and leadership to deliver drone delivery projects on time. You will break down complex projects, coordinate across multiple teams, and drive technical solutions to bring drone delivery to customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional program execution, partnering with stakeholders to deliver projects on time
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs balancing customer needs, business requirements, and technical constraints
- Break down large, complex projects into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver them successfully and on time
- Coordinate and plan across multiple teams, finding technical solutions that span services and applications
- Identify and create mechanisms that raise the bar on quality and speed of delivery
- Gather high-quality requirements and drive toward optimal architectural outcomes
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules ### Preferred qualifications
Nice to have
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
