As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Prime Air team, you will drive the technical program lifecycle for systems that build world models, mission planning engines, and dynamic airspace environments. You will own the program strategy for scaling these systems globally, define 3-to-5-year technology roadmaps, and partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical challenges into execution-ready milestones. Your work ensures our drones navigate a rich, real-time representation of the physical and regulatory world safely and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Architect the World & Missions: Drive the technical program lifecycle for systems responsible for building comprehensive world models, mission planning engines, and dynamic airspace environments. You will ensure our drones navigate a rich, real-time representation of the physical and regulatory world.
- Scale for Global Expansion: As we expand operations to numerous new sites globally, you will own the program strategy for scaling these systems. You will ensure our software architectures, data pipelines, and deployment frameworks can seamlessly handle a massive multi-site footprint without compromising reliability or safety.
- Drive Technology Roadmaps: Look around corners to define, influence, and execute 3-to-5-year technology roadmaps. You will collaborate closely with Applied Science, Software Engineering, and Hardware teams to align cross-functional technical dependencies and pioneer next-generation autonomous capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with top-notch developers, systems engineers, safety, and security teams to translate complex technical challenges into execution-ready milestones. You will synthesize ambiguous inputs into crisp technical requirements and drive execution with high ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules ### Preferred qualifications
Nice to have
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

- The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
