The IAMD Senior Project Manager will support the branch chief in organizing, coordinating, planning, and executing activities for major analytical tasks in missile defense and related areas. They will assign, schedule, and ensure configuration control and quality assurance of deliverables, and establish project organization to provide effective support. The role ensures conformance to task specifications and provisions.
Responsibilities
- Support the relevant branch chief to organize, coordinate, plan, and execute activities which support major analytical tasks in Ballistic missile defense Cruise missile defense Hypersonic missile defense Counter uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) Counter rocket, artillery, mortar Defense against aviation (including fixed wing and rotorcraft) Space-based effects Passive defense.
- Responsible for assigning, scheduling, and providing configuration control and quality assurance of deliverables; Establishing and altering project organization to provide effective support to major analytical tasks.
- Responsible for ensuring conformance to task specifications and major analytical task provisions.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a technical or management discipline.
- At least fifteen (15) years of professional experience, including ten (10) years managing complex DoW projects involving a large number of people in subordinate groups.
- Knowledge of the Joint Staff’s Capability requirements process.
- Security clearance: Active TS, SCI, and SAP eligible.
- US Citizenship Required.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
