Senior Electrical Integration Engineer, Air Dominance and Strike

As a Senior Electrical Integration Engineer on the Air Dominance and Strike team, you will support the development and test of air vehicle designs, working closely with avionics, systems, manufacturing, and flight test teams. Your responsibilities include creating support documentation, building and testing avionics system components, managing multiple projects, participating in design reviews, and conducting root cause analysis for vehicle integration and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Create support documentation to include block diagrams, ICD’s wiring interconnect diagrams throughout all phases of product development.
• Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
• Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
• Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• 8+ years experience designing and integrating electrical systems into aerospace vehicles or missiles
• Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
• Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Nice to have

• 12+ years experience designing and integrating electrical systems into aerospace vehicles or missiles
• Experienced and familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs
• Experience with Siemens Capital software for 2D modeling and drafting
