En tant qu'ingénieur électrique senior au sein de l'équipe Axon Robotics, vous concevrez et prototyperez les cartes électroniques et les systèmes au cœur de robots de mission critique tels que les UAV et UGV. Vous travaillerez sur des systèmes alimentés par batterie, densément peuplés et étroitement emballés, en utilisant des outils EDA comme Altium Designer et Cadence OrCAD/Allegro. Vous serez un contributeur actif au processus de R&D, concevant, assemblant et déboguant des cartes et des prototypes, et soutiendrez les équipes firmware et logiciel lors de la mise en service de nouvelles cartes.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the research and development of our next-generation products
  • Design schematics and PCBs; test and verify prototypes; and support the Firmware and Software Engineering teams in bringing up new boards
  • Design and build custom test systems for measuring the performance of our electronics
  • Test and measure boards, multi-board assemblies and electronic components such as batteries and motors
  • Support manufacturing and follow up on designs when changes are required due to component obsolescence or unavailability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of industry-leading electronics design experience, with emphasis on densely populated, tightly packaged, battery-powered embedded systems
  • Proficiency in multi-layer PCB layout and/or rigid-flex design
  • Strong all-round electronics knowledge, from analog to digital
  • Knowledge of at least one EDA package: Altium Designer and/or Cadence OrCAD
  • Awareness of EMC and signal-integrity issues and best practices as they relate to PCB design
  • Excellent hands-on skills: comfortable assembling board prototypes and using test equipment such as a DMM, oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer
  • Knowledge of C and Python for test firmware development
  • English proficiency required; French and/or Dutch are a plus
  • Full EU working rights
