BRINC is seeking a Fire/EMS Account Executive to expand drone technology adoption in fire departments and EMS agencies. This role involves developing relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and serving as a subject matter expert on public safety UAS operations. The ideal candidate will help agencies evaluate and implement drone programs, collaborate with internal teams, and attend industry events. Heavy travel (minimum 75%) is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with Fire/EMS agencies throughout an assigned territory.
- Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations for command staff, training divisions, operations personnel, and elected officials.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on public safety UAS operations, deployment models, regulatory considerations, and best practices.
- Work with agencies to develop Drone as First Responder (DFR), HazMat, USAR, wildfire, and emergency response programs.
- Assist departments in evaluating funding opportunities, budget development, and implementation planning.
- Collaborate with BRINC product, engineering, customer success, and implementation teams to ensure customer success.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote BRINC solutions and strengthen industry relationships.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of emerging technologies, public safety trends, and the evolving UAS landscape.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the fire service.
- Demonstrated experience with public safety UAS operations.
- Strong understanding of Fire/EMS operations, command structures, and emergency response environments.
- Passionate about growing drone technology within the fire service.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a large territory.
- Comfortable engaging with Fire Chiefs, command staff, elected officials, and executive leadership.
- Able to discuss deployment models, dispatch integration, operational workflows, budgeting, procurement, and agency capabilities.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to build credibility through real-world operational experience.
- Fire service air operations experience.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory minimally 75% of the time
Nice to have
- Wildland and/or high-rise fire experience preferred, including an understanding of wildfire operations, incident management, WUI response, and emerging applications for UAS technology in wildfire detection, mapping, and suppression support.
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred
- Experience developing, managing, or supporting a public safety drone program
- Sales experience preferred
