Du testest und vergleichst Sensoren (IMU, Kamera, GPS), passt Python-Skripte an, um Tests auszuführen und Daten zu erfassen, und etablierst Kalibrierungs-Setups. Du arbeitest in einem schnell wachsenden Deep-Tech-Startup mit direktem Einfluss auf sicherheitskritische Technologie.

Responsibilities

Test and compare new sensor components (IMU, camera, GPS) to identify the best option
Run and adapt Python scripts to execute structured hardware tests, adjust parameters, and capture measurement data
Establish calibration set-ups and best parameters for various sensors
Design and iterate on mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks

Requirements

BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering – industry experience required
Comfortable running and adapting Python scripts to drive sensor tests, adjust parameters, and log data
Strong SolidWorks proficiency (3D modelling, assemblies, drawings) and 3D printing prototyping
Hands-on prototyping experience – you build what you design
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup with long hours when the mission demands it

Nice to have

Experience with sensor integration (IMU, camera, GPS) on drones, robots, or embedded platforms
Background in drone or UAV mechanical design
