About the Role:
We’re looking for a full-time Drone Pilot to join our Wind vertical. This person will be responsible for executing and leading complex data capture missions across multiple platforms, including drones and internal crawlers for external and internal blade inspections, while supporting operations, training, and technology development. In addition to conducting inspections, this role mentors new personnel, tests new hardware/software tools, develops documentation, and provides field-level feedback to product, software, and engineering teams. Candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency, leadership in the field, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data capture missions with drones (RGB/thermography and other sensors as per project) in different types of assets and sectors.
• Provide training and support to new pilots (field and remote).
• Support the planning and execution of operations (checklists, documentation, operational safety, logistics)
• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and control of equipment (drones, batteries, sensors and accessories).
• Provide detailed and meaningful feedback to the product and engineering teams on Zeitview or other OEM technology.
• Determine collection strategy for projects based on the requirements of the project.
• Plan and assist in the development of operations training and workflows.
• Communicate with local stakeholders to determine operational requirements
• Travel to and from remote job sites throughout LATAM.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of field experience in drone/robotic, or infrastructure inspection workflows.
• CNH - B (driver's license) mandatory
• Comfortable traveling 75% and working in remote outdoor conditions year-round.
• Written and spoken fluency in both Portuguese and English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Comfortable working on a laptop in the field: file management, data transfers, uploads, and basic quality checks (coverage/focus/sequence).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document processes clearly and provide structured feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while also meeting rigid deadlines. 
• Experience with implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and individuals and come to a consensus. 
• Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working near turbines and on elevated platforms when required, while following all HSE procedures.
• Able to work in outside environments year-round.
