DZYNE Technologies was recently acquired by Ondas Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) and, together with World View, has joined forces to create Ondas Sentinel. Ondas Sentinel is a next‑generation U.S. defense platform integrating long‑endurance ISR, autonomous systems, counter‑UAS technologies, and mission intelligence.

While DZYNE is now part of Ondas Sentinel, we are still legally operating as DZYNE as we complete the formal integration of our systems and processes. As a result, you may see roles cross‑posted across DZYNE and World View, during this transition. All positions represent opportunities within the same combined organization.

Job Title: Paint Technician

Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Work Arrangement: On-site, 1st shift, Monday - Friday

Position Summary
As a Paint Technician, you will be a vital part of our production team, responsible for building high-precision components and finished products. You will use technical blueprints and specialized tools to ensure every unit is manufactured to the highest safety and quality standards to support various programs within the company.

Required Duties and Responsibilities

Spray Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating pressure pots, gravity-fed systems, and HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray guns to achieve uniform thickness.
Tool Handling: Knowledge and safe operation of paint applicators, basic power tools, dual action sanders, drills.
Organization: Keep immediate workstation clean and free of FOD. Sweep floor, change booth filters when needed, and maintain spray equipment.
Surface Preparation: Knowledge of proper cleaning solvents (like alcohol or Acetone to prepare bare metal or composite surfaces for primers.
Mixing & Blending: Precise measuring and mixing of base coats, catalysts, and thinners while monitoring environmental variables (e.g., humidity and temperature)
Trimming & Drilling: Use pneumatic die grinders, air saws, and sandpaper to remove flash and excess material along a marked scribe line.
Cosmetic Fill & Repair: Mechanically abrade bonding zones using sandpaper or Scotch-Brite. Perform solvent degreasing and evaluate surfaces before bonding.
FOD Awareness: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all industry-specific quality control protocols.
PPE Proficiency: Proper use and maintenance of supplied-air respirators, paint suits, and ventilation systems.
Documentation: Record and maintain production data to ensure accurate manufacturing logs and part traceability.

Required Skills/Qualifications

Manual Dexterity: Delicate handling, shaping, and precise masking of aircraft and other painted components
Attention to Detail: Detail orientation, steady hand for fine striping/masking, and ability to endure physically demanding tasks.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or composite manufacturing is highly preferred.
Attention to Detail: A commitment to "zero-defect" manufacturing and high-quality output.

Export Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms

Work Authorization Requirement:

Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, and lift a minimum of 35-50 lbs.
Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine.

Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $35.00

Hourly rate depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
