We seek a passionate and highly skilled Embedded System Engineer to join our Wireless Team working for Nokia Drone Networks. As a System Engineer, you will develop, test, and integrate advanced wireless systems for drones and autonomous applications. With your programming skills (C++/C#/Python), you will partner with cross-functional teams. Will work closely with customers and partners to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.

Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded software and firmware for drones and autonomous platforms.
Integrate flight controllers and communication systems to ensure high reliability and performance.
Design and implement application and platform layer features for autonomy and connectivity.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support customer-specific requirements and project roadmaps.
Drive and participate in system integration and testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Work with customers and external partners to address technical challenges, ensuring solution alignment.
Document system designs, test plans, and results to maintain high-quality standards.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.

You have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent degree with 10+ years experience of working with complex applications and platforms, including 3+ years in layers/features design and development for drones, robotics, and autonomy applications.
Development/coding/programming experience of 5+ years using C#/C++/Python or any other language.
Practical experience with flight controller firmware development and integration.
Knowledge of Linux and its networking layer.
Current or prior experience with NVIDIA or Qualcomm products/chips is highly desirable.
