The Robotics Operator & Technician is responsible for the assembly, maintenance, overhauls, and repairs of FulcrumAir UAVs and Aerial Robotics Systems. They also operate robotic equipment for device installs and support the operations team. The role involves travel up to two weeks a month and collaboration with a team of experts.

Responsibilities

The Robotics Operator & Technician, working as a member of the manufacturing team, is responsible for the overall assembly, depot maintenance, overhauls, and repairs of FulcrumAir UAVs and Aerial Robotics Systems. In addition to the technical skills explained below, this person will support the operations team by operating robotic equipment to perform device installs, and other related tasks. You will also have the opportunity to travel up to 2 weeks a month, exploring new environments and collaborating with a team of experts to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Requirements

Expert in soldering and circuitry
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
Thorough understanding of wiring and electronics
Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and diagnostics
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with manufacturing facilities
Familiarity with UAV autopilots, GPS units, radios, and other components
Knowledge of electric motors and control systems
Computer skills
Strong attention to detail
Meticulous organization and housekeeping
Willing and able to travel up to 2 weeks a month
Willing and able to travel internationally with current passport
Driver’s license with a clean abstract
Ability to conform with FulcrumAir’s pre-employment drug and alcohol testing program
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Punctuality and professionalism
Completed High School/GED

Nice to have

Applicable technical qualification such as Electrical Engineering Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, or equivalent
3 + years of relevant experience
