The AH-64E Operational Flight Training (OFT) Operator and Role Player supports the Flight School Training Support Services (FSTSS) program at GDIT, located in Daleville, Alabama. The role involves developing and maintaining training scenarios, operating flight simulators, and providing role player support for combat multipliers including Unmanned Aerial Systems. The position requires working non-traditional hours and weekends to support customer training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains training scenario for software systems quality operating methods, processes, and procedures.
- Conducts operations of flight simulator and provides role player support for combat multipliers, to include Unmanned Aerial Systems.
- Coordinates appropriate measures to ensure product quality.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
- Required Experience: 6+ years of aviation experience
- Aviation Mission Survivability and Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) experience
- Flight simulation operation experience
- An understanding of Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF®), military Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), and the employment of the AH-64E airframe.
- Customer service orientated mindset to provide the highest level of service and support.
- Skilled in personal computer, Microsoft 365 software and data repository software.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Location: Onsite at Daleville, AL
- Travel Required: Less than 10%
