Haast Autonomous sucht einen sorgfältigen Avionics- und Elektrik-Integrationstechniker, der die elektrischen Systeme für unsere Flugzeuge und Bodenprüfplattformen baut und wartet. Die Rolle umfasst präzises Löten, die Fertigung von Kabelbäumen, die Integration von Avionik- und Antriebskomponenten sowie die Inspektion jeder elektrischen Baugruppe vor dem Einbau. Sie unterstützen die Montage, Bodentests, Flugtests, Reparaturen und schnelle Prototypeniterationen und tragen dazu bei, wiederholbare Qualitätsstandards zu etablieren, während das Unternehmen wächst.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision soldering, wire splicing, connector termination, and electrical rework
- Manufacture aircraft wiring harnesses from drawings, schematics, and pinout tables
- Crimp, assemble, label, route, secure, and inspect aircraft wiring
- Integrate flight controllers, ESCs, motors, batteries, sensors, radios, GPS units, cameras, actuators, and power-distribution hardware
- Install appropriate strain relief, shielding, grounding, abrasion protection, and cable management
- Conduct continuity, resistance, insulation, polarity, and power-on testing
- Diagnose intermittent connections, communication faults, voltage drops, and other electrical issues
- Inspect assemblies for solder quality, connector engagement, routing, and mechanical security
- Support aircraft assembly, ground testing, flight testing, repairs, and rapid prototype iterations
- Maintain wiring diagrams, harness records, inspection checklists, and aircraft build documentation
- Organize and maintain electrical tools, components, connectors, and consumable inventory
- Help establish repeatable workmanship and quality-control standards as the company scales
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with precision soldering and electrical assembly
- Experience building wiring harnesses and terminating electrical connectors
- Proficiency with crimpers, soldering stations, heat guns, multimeters, power supplies, and common electrical hand tools
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, connector pinouts, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, repeatable workmanship
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults methodically
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving prototype environment
- Ability to work safely around high-voltage and high-current battery systems
Nice to have
- IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or equivalent training
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, drones, robotics, automotive, motorsports, or industrial electronics
- Experience with Molex, JST, TE Connectivity, Deutsch, Amphenol, D-sub, XT-series, and circular connectors
- Experience with CAN, UART, I²C, Ethernet, PWM, RS-232, or RS-485 systems
- Experience with lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery systems
- Familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, CubePilot, or similar autopilot systems
- Experience inspecting or reworking printed circuit boards
- Familiarity with aerospace wire, shielding, grounding, and EMI-management practices
