As a Drone System Validation Technician and Pilot, you will manage the validation lab, perform fleet maintenance, pilot drones during test campaigns, execute test protocols, and support engineers during field operations. You ensure the drone fleet is airworthy and ready for deployment.

Responsibilities

Fleet Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on the drone fleet (soldering, mechanical assembly, part replacement).
Flight Operations: Pilot drones during test campaigns and act as the safety operator.
Logistics: Manage inventory of spare parts, batteries, and field equipment; organize transport for test campaigns.
Test Execution: Execute standard test protocols (checklists) and report results to the engineering team.
Lab Management: Keep the workshop organised, safe, and fully stocked.

Requirements

Technical degree or relevant experience in electronics, mechanics, or RC modeling.
Excellent manual dexterity: Soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
Organised and safety-conscious.
Drone Piloting: Experience piloting multi-rotor or fixed-wing UAVs (certification is a massive plus).
Strong interest for DIY
A2 English level
Willingness to travel for field testing.
