The Electronic Security Project Manager will lead a team of security technicians and subcontractors installing ACS, IDS, CCTV, intercom and other low voltage systems for clients in Northern Virginia. The PM will coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring robust communication with customers and team, and managing day-to-day operations, schedules, risk mitigation, changes, and material needs throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Project Management experience in an electronic security system environment
Ability to lead and mentor a team
Experience overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is done as is expected by i2G systems and all stakeholders.
Strong communication skills. This goes not only within the i2G team but also with our customers and subcontractors.
Ability to Read and understand security system drawings as well as familiarity with electrical and civil drawing packages.
Experience managing integration engineers that program electronic security systems including but not limited to access control systems, intrusion detection systems and CCTV systems
Maintain project equipment inventory, red-line drawings, and quality
Assist with creating proposals as needed

Requirements

Previous project management in electronic security systems field
Must be able to pass a background check
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient with scheduling software such as MS Project, SimPro, or Smartsheets
Proficient with Microsoft Windows
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have a valid driver's license
5+ Years previous experience with electronic security systems required

Nice to have

Working knowledge of Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, Fire systems, and/or DMP is a plus
Prefer direct experience with Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint training certifications highly desired but not required
Training and Certifications in the above product lines and PMP certification preferred.
