The MQ-4 Triton Fleet Release Lead is responsible for coordinating all aspects of MQ-4 Triton Fleet Release test and evaluation in support of fleet deployment. This role involves collaborating with the MQ-4 Integrated Test Team, PMA-262, Northrop Grumman, and external vendors to coordinate schedules, resources, requirements, staffing, and capabilities for upcoming upgrades. The lead will set up and run coordination meetings, create schedules, track resources, and determine test team priorities, while addressing scientific, engineering, or business objectives and interfacing with project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for coordinating all aspects of MQ-4 Triton Fleet Release test and evaluation in support of fleet deployment.
  • Collaborate between MQ-4 Integrated Test Team, PMA-262, Northrop Grumman, and external vendors to coordinate schedules, resources, requirements, staffing, and capabilities in upcoming upgrades to the MQ-4C Triton.
  • Setup and run coordination meetings, create schedules, track required resources and determine test team priorities.
  • Addresses scientific, engineering or business objectives and interfaces with project teams to address project objectives.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree (MS) in an Engineering or related technical field discipline, or computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, or statistics from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of at least 6 years of NAVAIR or NAWCAD engineering experience. Three years of experience performing the foregoing engineering functions. Alternatively, at least 10 years experience applying knowledge of analytical methodologies, management principles, hardware and software systems structures and operation, and aircraft systems or requirements to solve project problems.
  • At least 3 years of the total experience shall have consisted of performing engineering functions with respect to support, research or development of mechanical, electrical, or aerospace systems plus experience in requirements development, test planning, coordinating and executing test and evaluation activities, analysis of data products, and presentation and documentation of system performance results. Three years experience on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program.
  • Three year's experience overseeing the efforts of less senior staff and be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. more senior positions performing functional duties of a similar position. A journeyman employee level person typically performs all functional duties independently.
  • The Masters' degree may be waived to a Bachelor's degree with six additional years of NAVAIR, NAWCAD engineering experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
