Location Locust Grove, Georgia, United States --- **Job Title:** Operations Specialist – Drone Delivery Support **Location:** Locust Grove, GA 30248 **Duration:** 12 months **Payrate:** $20 per hour on W2 **Working Hours:** 40 hrs/week – schedule will be confirmed once hired. **Job Description** **About the Team:** Company's Labs is a specialized team focused on robotics and automation that push the future of last-mile logistics. We’re bringing autonomous drone delivery to life, and we need reliable, detail-oriented people to keep daily operations running safely and smoothly. **About the Role:** This role supports our on-site drone delivery operations. You will not be flying drones. Instead, you’ll handle ground tasks that make each delivery possible—picking up prepared food orders from local merchants, transporting them to the drone site, loading drones, and ensuring each handoff is accurate and safe. This job requires your own reliable vehicle to pick up food orders from restaurants and bring them to the drone launch site. Must live in the Houston Metro and flexible to travel between our work sites. **Roles and Responsibilities** **What You’ll Do – Create an Impact:** - Pick up food orders from assigned merchants and transport them to the drone site using your personal vehicle. - Carefully prepare and load orders into drones, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety. - Support smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-moving test environment. - Identify issues, share observations, and provide clear feedback that helps improve processes and technology. - **Operational Excellence:** - Follow all safety protocols and site procedures with precision. - Maintain an organized, efficient workflow that keeps the operation on schedule. - Stay flexible and proactive as processes evolve. - **Team Collaboration:** - Work closely with a small, mission-driven team that values trust, accountability, and consistency. - Help reinforce a strong operational culture through communication, reliability, and hands-on teamwork. **Communication:** - Serve as the eyes and ears on the ground—reporting observations to engineers, operators, and cross-functional partners. - Represent company positively when interacting with merchants and community members. **Education:** No specific educational qualification is mentioned in the original job description. **Qualifications** **What You Bring:** - A reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license. - Comfort working outdoors and on your feet. - A steady, dependable work ethic—punctual, detail-minded, and safety-first. - A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability in an emerging operation. - Strong communication and professionalism with merchants, teammates, and the public. **What You’ll Learn** - How autonomous drone systems operate within last-mile delivery. - Cross-functional communication—sharing operational insights with engineering and leadership teams. - The realities of scaling a future-facing logistics service in a live environment. - Practical skills in site operations, quality control, and continuous improvement. ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@id":"https://www.dronejobs.app/#website","@type":"WebSite","inLanguage":"en","name":"DroneJobs","url":"https://www.dronejobs.app","publisher":{"@id":"https://www.dronejobs.app/#identity"}},{"@id":"https://www.dronejobs.app/jobs/lancesoft-inc-labs-operations-d2#webpage","@type":"WebPage","description":"Locust Grove, Georgia, United States · On-site — Job Title: Operations Specialist – Drone Delivery Support Location: Locust Grove, GA 30248 Duration: 12…","name":"Labs Operations D2 · Locust Grove · LanceSoft Inc","url":"https://www.dronejobs.app/jobs/lancesoft-inc-labs-operations-d2","breadcrumb":{"@id":"https://www.dronejobs.app/jobs/lancesoft-inc-labs-operations-d2#breadcrumb"},"isPartOf":{"@id":"https://www.dronejobs.app/#website"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"ReadAction","target":["https://www.dronejobs.app/jobs/lancesoft-inc-labs-operations-d2"]}]},{"@id":"https://www.dronejobs.app/#identity","@type":"Organization","description":"Connecting the world's best drone pilots with top-tier companies.
