As our Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist, you'll own the full physical and system-of-record journey of our materials: shipping finished robots and parts to customers around the world, receiving and putting away incoming inventory, and keeping our ERP a trustworthy mirror of what's actually on the shelf. You'll be the go-to expert who untangles international customs, tenders lithium-battery and freight shipments correctly, and turns around the shipping quotes our Sales team relies on. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with real ownership: you'll set the standard for how a fast-growing robotics company ships.
Responsibilities
- Every robot we ship and every part we receive flows through this seat — which makes you the person who keeps Lucid Bots moving.
Requirements
- You've spent 3+ years hands-on in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics, and you're comfortable owning the whole process end-to-end — not just one slice of it.
- You ship it right the first time: domestic parcel, LTL/FTL freight, and international shipments, with accurate packaging, labeling, commercial invoices, and customs documentation.
- You've navigated international shipping and customs before, and you know how to keep a shipment from getting stuck — or how to get it un-stuck when it does. (DHL experience is a real plus here).
- You treat inventory as sacred: every physical move gets reflected promptly and accurately in the ERP, and you catch part-number, quantity, or documentation errors before they reach a customer or the production floor.
- You keep customers and internal teams moving — packing, and staging orders on schedule, and turning around shipping quotes and lead-time answers for Sales quickly.
- You're comfortable handling (or getting certified to handle) regulated materials — DOT/IATA dangerous goods and lithium-ion batteries. If you don't have the certs yet, you're ready to earn them fast (we pay for it).
- You bring builder energy to a startup: processes are still being written, and you want to help improve them rather than wait for a perfect playbook.
- You take radical ownership. When you don't know something, you figure it out — you're a teammate first.
- You can safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and are comfortable operating (or getting certified on) forklifts and pallet jacks.
Nice to have
- Experience with Acumatica ERP, or another ERP's inventory, purchase-receipt, sales-order, and shipment workflows.
- Deeper international/customs fluency — HTS classifications, ECCNs, Incoterms, export documentation, and coordinating with customs brokers.
- A background in manufacturing, robotics, electronics, or aerospace, or experience with lot-controlled, serialized, or revision-controlled inventory.
- Familiarity with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and 5S / continuous-improvement methods.
- Hands-on experience safely handling batteries, ESD-sensitive components, or other regulated materials.
Benefits
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 3% retirement match
- 15 days of paid time off (PTO)
- 3 sick days
- 11 paid holidays, with 3 of those being floating holidays
- Employee stock option plan
