We are seeking Flight Control Application System Verification Engineers to support our client in the development and verification of safety-critical aerospace systems, with a focus on flight control applications. The successful candidate will develop and execute verification test procedures, perform system integration and validation testing, analyze results, and ensure traceability and compliance with aerospace standards. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to continuous improvement of verification processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and refine verification test procedures based on system requirements.
- Perform system integration, verification, and validation testing on system test benches and integration platforms.
- Analyze test results and investigate system anomalies and discrepancies.
- Produce test documentation, verification evidence, and test reports.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test procedures, and verification results.
- Participate in project reviews, technical meetings, and customer progress discussions.
- Support system design, requirements analysis, and verification planning activities.
- Coordinate and support multidisciplinary verification activities involving systems, software, and hardware teams.
- Contribute to configuration management and change management activities for system engineering artifacts.
- Support continuous improvement of verification processes, methods, and tools.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace development and certification processes for safety-critical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in systems engineering, integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Knowledge of flight control systems or other safety-critical embedded control systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace development and certification environments, including DO-178 and related industry standards.
- Experience creating and executing verification test procedures.
- Experience with system integration and test activities.
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, analysis, and verification activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is highly desirable.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written French is mandatory.
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
- Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec. / La connaissance de l'anglais est requise pour communiquer et travailler avec nos clients situés à l'extérieur de la province de Québec.

- Experience with requirements management and traceability tools is an asset.
