The Systems IVV Engineer will support the verification of critical flight control systems within a leading avionics environment. The role involves developing and executing system-level verification activities, analyzing test results, and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with aerospace standards. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement of IVV processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine system test procedures based on system requirements.
  • Execute verification and validation activities on system integration test benches.
  • Analyze test results and investigate anomalies.
  • Prepare and maintain test reports and verification documentation.
  • Participate in project status meetings and technical reviews.
  • Support integration activities and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and verification results.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IVV processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Integration, Verification & Validation (IVV) or systems testing.
  • Knowledge of aerospace systems, particularly flight control systems or other safety-critical embedded control systems.
  • Experience working with MATLAB/Simulink environments.
  • Understanding of aerospace development and certification standards, including DO-178 principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in avionics or other regulated, safety-critical industries.
  • Familiarity with requirements-based testing and verification methodologies.
  • Experience working in system integration laboratories and hardware/software test environments.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle processes.
