You will be the single point technical, operational, and commercial developments, translating complex market noise into clear picture, insights and recommendations that drive will contribute and influence our Product and Sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Mastery & Monitoring: Maintain real-time, comprehensive expertise in the drone and cUAS domains. Monitor global news, emerging technologies, operational shifts, and regulatory changes across multiple verticals.
  • Strategic Analysis: Go beyond data collection to provide "deep-dive" analysis. Synthesize information on competitors (direct and indirect), market trends, and regional business climates to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Business Enablement: Act as a strategic partner to the Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams. Your insights will directly influence the product roadmap, sales pitches, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Tooling & Intelligence Infrastructure: Manage and optimize information-gathering tools. Focus on filtering signal from noise to generate high-quality, actionable intelligence reports for executive leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the CPO and cross-functional teams to ensure that market reality is reflected in every decision we make.
  • Briefing and Reports: Address your knowledge when needed to different forums within the company, in verbal, written and presentation formats.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Alternatively, previous relevant experience in a "Dual-Use" technology company (tech that serves both commercial and military markets). You must understand the difference between a consumer drone and a military-grade drone/loitering munition.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or International Relations. An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Research Mastery: Proficiency in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) gathering and experience utilizing market intelligence platforms (e.g., Gartner, PitchBook, Janes, or specialized defense and/or security databases).

  • Competitive Analysis: Experience building SWOT analyses, battle cards, and competitive landscape maps.
  • Technological Fluency: A strong technical aptitude. You don't need to be an engineer, but you must be able to understand technical specs (e.g., RF sensors, radar systems, kinetic vs. non-kinetic mitigation, cyber basics) and translate them into value propositions.
  • Financial Forensic: Analyze competitor 10-Ks (where applicable), funding rounds, and burn rates to identify who is "buying growth" versus who is truly efficient. Analyze financial data to understand the weaknesses, focus, and targets
  • Win/Loss: Lead an objective, high-touch Win/Loss program. Analyse our "lost" to identify if we lost on product, price, approach or "the story." Compare with competition.
  • Executive Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You must be comfortable presenting strategic findings to C-level executives (CPO, CEO) and answering challenging questions on the fly.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: A track record of successfully collaborating with Product Management and Sales teams to influence roadmap and revenue decisions.
