As an FPV Evangelist at Neros, you will enhance the company's proficiency in FPV by building and maintaining the FPV fly-through course, hosting workshops, and managing the FPV lab. You will build hobby FPV drones at enterprise scale, create curriculum, and support special events like races and demos.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a fleet of drones and support equipment
Work with leadership to maintain a regular schedule of hosting “open FPV course” sessions and special events (races, demos, etc.)
Create FPV curriculum courses i.e. repair workshops, soldering, Betaflight how-to setup
Record keeping of employees' progress
Will work with leadership on approved sign-up sheets for “open practice” times, special events, and course enrollments
Design and maintain the actual FPV track which users will fly
Gates/flags/led FPV course
Timing system: rotorhazard, immersion/livetime experience warranted
Maintain FPV sim setup - design virtual track that mimics live track for practice
This role may be asked to assist in other tasks in the factory

Requirements

4+ years of experience in building and racing FPV drones
Mentorship or teaching experience, excellent communicator- must have the ability to create presentations and the ability to teach
FPV race experience - track design and race ops experience to build a race course and host race events with timing system
Part 107
FPV acro piloting skills - FPV/LOS - live demo and Velocidrone demo
Soldering - skills required to build consumer FPV drone
Betaflight programming knowledge
Assembly skills- ability to put together FPV drone parts without instructions
