Neros Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Production Planner to oversee manufacturing workflows. The role involves turning manufacturing goals into actionable schedules, ensuring materials are available, timelines are met, and resources are optimized. The planner will bridge the gap between supply chain, engineering, and the production floor to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive production plans aligned with company objectives
- Utilize production scheduling software (ERP/MRP/MES) to create, maintain, and optimize daily manufacturing schedules
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term production strategies that scale with company growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain planning, or operations planning within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with ERP, MRP, or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar) to develop and manage production schedules
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production schedules, capacity plans, and material availability plans to meet manufacturing demand
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) to support forecasting and operational decision-making
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve production constraints and bottlenecks
- Experience monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and adjusting production plans to mitigate material shortages or delays
- Ability to interpret production metrics and operational data to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize manufacturing throughput
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple production priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Intimate Familiar with manufacturing and Production lines: able to lift 25lb on the production line as needed
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related technical field
- Experience working in high-tech manufacturing environments (e.g., aerospace, robotics, electronics, semiconductor, or advanced hardware manufacturing)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience supporting production scale-up, NPI (New Product Introduction), or rapid-growth manufacturing environments
- Exposure to production capacity planning, demand forecasting, or sales & operations planning (S&OP) processes
- PMP certification
