Responsibilities
- The Site Lead (Manager 2) is responsible for directing and scheduling Field Service Engineers (FSEs) in executing software upgrades, systems integration and testing, and flight and maintenance operations for the Triton aircraft. Maintain direct liaison with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) that have an impact on Air Vehicle (AV) and Ground Segment (GSEG) systems. The Site Lead for 5th Fleet is accountable to oversee, and when required, direct program maintenance IAW safety regulations and established corporate policy, procedures and government regulations including but not limited to Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) for the MQ-4C Triton IFC-4 Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), Fleet Engineering Dispositions, Technical Directives, Contractor Operating Procedures, and published program maintenance procedures at any of the 5th fleet locations. The Site Lead will be authorized to execute maintenance requirements in coordination with customer maintenance leadership, program engineers, and operations managers. Oversees and/or directs Deputy Site Leads and Site personnel daily schedules, including subcontractors, daily maintenance activities to execute program objectives on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, OR a Master’s degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
- Two years of Systems Test Engineering or Systems Integration Engineering experience
- Experience working in flight operations.
- Must have technical MQ-4C Triton Aircraft experience (Or similar).
- Must have an Active US Government Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS/SCI clearance.
Nice to have
- Active US Government Top Secret.
- Must have strong communication skills/delivery methods, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft/Teams.
- Prior Naval Officer experience (O4 or above); or Navy Senior Enlisted (E8 or above).
- Experience in managing a maintenance department supporting an FSE function.
- MQ-4C Aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, ground handling, launch/recovery, Safe for Flight.
- NAVY/NAVAIR/NAMP/OPNAVINST 4790.2, OOMA, DCMA 8210.1D.
- Willing to travel/live 100% abroad.
- Have valid/current passport credentials.

- Primary Level Salary Range: $133,200.00 - $199,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
