ELECTRONICS ENGINEER (f/m/d)

Als Electronics Engineer bei Omnisent übernehmen Sie die Verantwortung für das elektronische Design und die Schaltpläne der Sensor- und Interceptor-Systeme des Unternehmens – von der PCB-Architektur bis zur produktionsreifen Hardware. Sie führen das PCB-Routing für Prototypen durch, iterieren schnell auf Basis von Testergebnissen und arbeiten eng mit Mechanik-, Firmware- und ML-Ingenieuren zusammen, um die Elektronik in vollständige Systeme zu integrieren. Dabei legen Sie Wert auf EMV-Konformität, Fertigbarkeit (DFM) und hohe Zuverlässigkeit nach IPC-Klasse-3-Standards.

Responsibilities

• Own electronic design and schematics for new and existing PCB versions across our product line
• Lead PCB routing for prototyping and iterate quickly based on test results
• Design for EMC compliance and for manufacturability (DFM) from the earliest design stages
• Work to IPC Class 3 standards for high-reliability defense hardware
• Design analogue circuitry and low-noise data acquisition (DAQ) systems for acoustic and sensor applications
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, and ML engineers to integrate electronics into full systems

Requirements

• Strong background in electronic design, PCB layout, and schematics (IoT, embedded systems, low-power electronics, or gadget hardware)
• Experience with EMC design and design-for-manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with IPC Class 3 standards or similarly rigorous quality requirements
• Hands-on experience with analogue systems and low-noise DAQ design
• Comfortable working across the full hardware lifecycle, from prototype to production

Nice to have

• EU work authorization
• Experience with AI-on-edge hardware or embedded ML acceleration
• Prior work in defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability hardware industries
