LAB MANAGER / TECHNICIAN (f/m/d)

Wir suchen einen Lab Manager, der unseren Makerspace leitet und die Werkzeuge, Ausrüstung und Beschaffungsprozesse verwaltet, damit unsere Hardware- und Engineering-Teams reibungslos arbeiten können. Die Rolle umfasst die Wartung des Labors, die Beschaffung von Ausrüstung und Verbrauchsmaterialien, die Unterstützung bei Fertigung und Tests sowie die Einrichtung von Prozessen für Bestandsverwaltung und Sicherheit.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain our lab and makerspace, including tools, equipment, and workspace organization
• Own procurement of lab equipment, components, and consumables
• Operate lab equipment and support engineering teams with hands-on fabrication and testing needs
• Set up and maintain processes for inventory management and equipment upkeep
• Ensure the lab meets safety and operational standards as the team scales

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing a lab, workshop, or makerspace environment
• Experience with procurement processes for technical equipment and components
• Comfortable operating a range of lab/workshop equipment
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate the team's operational needs
• EU work authorization

Nice to have

• Experience in a hardware startup or engineering lab environment
• Technical background (electronics, mechanical, or similar) that helps you understand what the team needs
