We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our Defence and Weapon Systems business area, specifically supporting UAS-Systems operations. In this role, you will be responsible for operational procurement, ensuring material availability for production, monitoring supply risks, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will also support the development of the supply chain for drone and unmanned systems activities, working closely with production, engineering, quality, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

Ensure material availability for production by placing purchase orders and following up order confirmations and deliveries
Monitor shortages, delivery deviations and other supply risks, and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Maintain purchasing parameters, supplier and item data in the ERP system
Communicate actively with domestic and international suppliers
Support inventory management and the coordination of inbound logistics
Participate in the development of operational purchasing processes and working practices
Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, sourcing, logistics and other internal stakeholders
Support the establishment and development of the supply chain for drone and unmanned systems activities

Requirements

Previous experience in operational purchasing, procurement, material planning, supply chain or a comparable role
Experience with ERP- or MRP-systems
Ability and willingness to work with ERP-systems and maintain accurate purchasing data
Interest in technical products and ability to understand item data and technical documentation
A systematic, proactive and practical way of working
Good collaboration and communication skills
Good Finnish language skills and good working proficiency in English
Interest in drones, unmanned systems and emerging technologies

Nice to have

Experience in industrial- or production-related purchasing
SAP or SAP S/4HANA experience
Experience in an international supplier environment
Understanding of electronics, mechanical components, assemblies or other technical products
Experience in regulated, security-critical or defence-related industries
