AI Training - Open Source CAD Research - Aerospace Engineers - Switzerland

This is a task-based AI training job where aerospace engineers contribute to developing next-generation AI models by completing real-world CAD design challenges and validation workflows. Workers choose their own schedule and workload, with no fixed hours or minimum commitment. Tasks involve designing physical objects for 3D printing, capturing their workflow for AI training, and writing Python validation scripts. The role is fully remote and freelance, with payments made via PayPal.

Responsibilities

• Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
• Complete engineering design tasks while your workflow, including tool usage, clicks, and design decisions, is captured to help train AI models on engineering problem-solving.
• Write and execute Python validation scripts to support your design workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field
• Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software (e.g., FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar)
• Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• A reliable internet connection and access to a computer

Nice to have

• Python development experience with the ability to write and execute scripts independently
• Experience writing validation scripts (not just using pre-built tools)
• Comfortable working from the command line
