Hardware and Electronics Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Hardware and Electronics Engineer, you will be a key part of our hardware development team, driving the design and development of advanced electronic circuits. You will work closely with stakeholders from hardware, firmware, and testing to develop, optimize, and validate electronic circuits for cutting-edge applications, with a focus on high-performance PCB design and prototyping. Your day-to-day mission includes layout and design of electronic circuits, simulation, prototyping, and testing, as well as supporting certification processes and QA of produced PCBs.

Responsibilities

• Layout, design, and development of electronic circuits (mixed-signal design, digital technology, power electronics)
• Board-level requirements engineering and test planning
• Simulation of electronic circuits (e.g. LtSpice)
• Bring up prototypes according to test plans.
• Creation of schematics, layouts, and production files following design standards and best practices in Altium Designer
• Optimization, commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing of existing electronic circuits and PCB prototypes
• Definition and documentation of manufacturing instructions for assembly suppliers
• Support in certification processes at measurement laboratories (CE, FCC, ...)
• Definition and setup of test equipment for commissioning and testing of prototypes
• Support of QA of produced PCBs
• Execution of test procedures as well as validation of operating limits (e.g. climatic chamber)
• Collaboration in the further development of the product development process

Requirements

• Degree in the field of electrical engineering or electronics.
• Experience in the field of electronics development
• Very good knowledge in electronics and digital circuitry.
• Experience in mixed signal design.
• Good knowledge in power electronics and measurement of analog signals.
• Good knowledge in EMI/EMC.
• Good knowledge in DFM for PCB Design
• Your passion: you are also privately interested in model aircraft construction, copter, robotics or embedded.
• Communication in English is a matter of course for you.
