As a Quality Control Operator (m/f/d), you will be a key part of our Production & Assembly Team, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. You will work closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure every product meets Quantum Systems' quality standards and customer requirements. Your mission is to support the delivery of reliable, mission-critical systems through rigorous inspections, testing, and quality control activities while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to quality procedures and work instructions.
- Verify compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities and quality deviations.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Ensure defective or non-conforming materials are properly segregated and controlled.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes.
- Participate in product testing and validation activities where required.
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and company quality requirements.
Requirements
- Technical education or vocational training in manufacturing, quality, electronics, mechanics, or a related field.
- Experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assembly documentation.
- Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Basic understanding of quality management principles and inspection methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
- Ability to identify and document defects and non-conformities accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills and a structured working approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Romanian language proficiency is required.
- Reliable, hands-on, and quality-focused mindset.
