As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be a key part of our Global Supply Chain, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. You will work closely with stakeholders from Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering to establish and manage an efficient supply chain operation. Your mission will be to secure material availability, optimize inventory, and build resilient supply chain operations that support the on-time delivery of mission-critical systems across Europe and Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Supply Chain representative for the Romanian production site and serve as the interface to the Global Supply Chain organization.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials and components required to support production targets and customer commitments.
  • Develop and implement local supply chain processes in alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Procurement teams to manage supplier performance, delivery reliability, and supply continuity.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance material availability with working capital efficiency.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Production Planning teams to align supply plans with production schedules and customer demand.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier constraints, logistics disruptions, and material shortages.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports for local and global stakeholders.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Support ERP, MRP, and planning system implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive process optimization, cost reduction, and operational excellence programs across the local supply chain.
  • Collaborate with international Supply Chain teams to support production scale-up and future site expansion activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in supply chain management, operations, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management.
  • Experience working within global or multi-site supply chain organizations.
  • Experience with ERP systems, MRP planning tools, and supply chain analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in supplier development, supplier performance management, and supply chain risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across international and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing scale-up, industrialization, or production ramp-up activities is highly desirable.
  • Professional fluency in English.
