Als Supervisor Electronics Technician leid je een technisch team van 4 personen en blijf je hands-on betrokken bij de dagelijkse productie van radarsystemen. Je overbrugt de kloof tussen technische coaching en people management, stelt duidelijke doelen, organiseert de planning en helpt je team groeien. Je rapporteert aan de afdelingshoofd en werkt nauw samen met Productie, Engineering en Planning.
Responsibilities
- Daily Hands-on Support: Help your team with the daily workload. This includes soldering, assembling, testing, and calibrating electronic parts for our radar systems.
- Team Leadership: Set clear technical standards and milestones. Keep your team aligned, run regular reviews to track progress, and stay updated on high-tech radar trends.
- Planning & Scheduling: Assign tasks and organize work schedules. Handle timesheet approvals and manage leave requests to keep the workflow smooth.
- Coaching & Growth: Train your team members, give regular feedback, and support their career growth. You will also assist the Department Head with mid-year and end-year reviews.
- Process Improvement: Make sure the team follows quality and safety standards. Spot bottlenecks, suggest better ways of working, and keep daily operations efficient.
Requirements
- MBO4 (or work experience equivalent) in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related high-tech technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in high-tech manufacturing, assembly, or engineering environments.
- Proven experience leading, coaching, or managing a technical sub-team of 2 to 8 direct reports.
- Strong hands-on experience with electronics and assembly.
- Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to deliver constructive feedback and motivate colleagues.
- A proactive, down-to-earth mindset. You are a great communicator who knows how to motivate people.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with tools like HiBob and Odoo (for scheduling and hours tracking) is a plus.
