The Head of Manufacturing will run the machine shop at Sentradel, a defense startup building autonomous turret systems to defeat small drones. Every part produced in-house goes through this role: fixturing, toolpaths, and shop organization. The role involves designing and machining custom fixtures, setting up toolholders and offsets, and working closely with the engineering team to optimize parts for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

Fixturing, toolpaths, tooling, and shop organization

Requirements

Several years of experience managing a full sized CNC
Experience with a 3 axis CNC
Extensive Fusion 360 experience with CAD and CAM
Experience in a machine shop or company built on rapid iteration
