We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to strengthen our presence in the United States. The role involves supporting business development and sales teams throughout the customer acquisition lifecycle, conducting customer discovery sessions, and translating customer needs into scalable drone, radio, autonomy, and sensor architecture recommendations. You will develop solution concepts, technical responses, statements of work, and proposal content, and present technical capabilities to executive, operational, and engineering stakeholders. Additionally, you will support technical demonstrations, solution architecture, and OEM and strategic partner support.

Responsibilities

  • Support business development and sales teams throughout the customer acquisition lifecycle.
  • Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand mission requirements, operational challenges, and technical constraints.
  • Translate customer needs into scalable drone, radio, autonomy, and sensor architecture recommendations.
  • Develop solution concepts, technical responses, statements of work (SOWs), and proposal content.
  • Present technical capabilities to executive, operational, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to OEM partners, defense customers, and government agencies.
  • If qualified, support flight demonstrations, proof-of-concept events, and field trials.
  • Develop test plans, success criteria, and demonstration scenarios aligned with customer requirements.
  • Lead customer acceptance testing and technical validation efforts.
  • Support trade shows, military exercises, technology demonstrations, and partner events.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to engineering and product teams.
  • Design and validate integrated solutions involving:
  • UAS platforms
  • Tactical and mesh radio systems
  • Command-and-control software
  • Autonomy software
  • Sensor payloads
  • Ground control stations
  • RF detection and situational awareness systems
  • Supporting interoperability across multi-vendor ecosystems and government programs.
  • Assisting customers with system deployment, integration planning, and operational implementation.
  • Build technical relationships with drone manufacturers, radio providers, autonomy vendors, and government customers.
  • Support channel and OEM partner enablement through training and technical workshops.
  • Collaborate with product teams to prioritize market requirements and emerging operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities for expanded adoption and follow-on business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in UAS, autonomy, aerospace, defense technology, wireless communications, or related industries.
  • Proven customer-facing experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Sales Engineering
  • Solutions Engineering
  • Technical Business Development
  • Flight Operations
  • Systems Integration
  • Experience delivering technical presentations, customer demonstrations, and product briefings.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • UAS operations
  • BVLOS operations
  • FAA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Command-and-control (C2) systems
  • Tactical communications networks
  • Sensor integration and deployment
  • Ability to travel frequently to support customer engagements, demonstrations, testing activities, and industry events.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
