[What you will be working on]
Operate drones to support maritime inspections, enhancing operational efficiency and data collection.
Assist Port Inspectors as safety officer during drone flights, ensuring all operations adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Conduct drone competency assessments to verify drone operators’ skills and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Provide incident response capabilities using drones to assess and mitigate potential risks in emergency situations, ensuring quick deployment.
Support the continuous development of drone operational procedures, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance safety, operational readiness, and response capabilities.
Ensure all drone operations align with established safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the maritime industry.
Maintain a high level of expertise in maritime drone technology, staying updated with new developments in drone systems, operational procedures, and incident response strategies.
[What we are looking for]
Certified CAAS UAPL holder
Proven experience in drone operation, particularly in maritime or inspection environments will be added advantage.
Possess excellent understanding of drone safety practices, operational risk management, with a good understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring clear safety and operational guidelines are followed during drone activities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
In the event of emergencies, officer may be required to work shifts/on weekend/public holidays and time off will be given accordingly.
