Logos Technologies is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to support ongoing technology development efforts at our Fairfax, VA office. This role will contribute to ISR sensor design, high-powered laser systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle integration. The role includes research, design, development and testing of electronic subsystems and systems for development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and design of system from initial concept through prototype and low-rate production
- Research, design, develop, and test electrical components, both individually and as part of larger systems
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors responsible for component and subassembly manufacturing
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Assist in developing and maintaining project deliverables, including detailed plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk assessments, issue tracking, and status reports for both customers and internal management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2-4 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience.
- Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories.
- Familiarity with Altium or comparable circuit-design tools.
- Experience designing circuit boards, cables, and sensor systems individually and as part of as team.
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- US citizenship
Nice to have
- Additive manufacturing experience a plus
- FPGA programming experience a plus
