As a Manufacturing Technician at Verity, you will join a small production team responsible for building and producing entire drones. Your main tasks include manually assembling and maintaining drones and parts to detailed specifications, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing quality control procedures. You will also occasionally support broader company goals such as packing shipments or inventory management. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of Verity's autonomous indoor drone systems.

Responsibilities

Manually assemble and maintain drones, parts, and support equipment to detailed specs and quality standards, using automation technologies safely
Independently troubleshoot technical issues affecting assembly or quality
Perform quality control procedures and document results
Occasionally support broader company/team goals off the shop floor, like packing shipments to customers/events or helping with inventory management

Requirements

Completed formal training in working with electronic equipment (e.g. electronics technician, automation technician, mechanic, or similar), through a vocational program, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on path
First professional experience assembling automation technology at a macro-component level (e.g. working with pre-assembled parts), rather than fine-scale work like surface-mount soldering or oscilloscope-based measurement
Experience with hand soldering at through-hole scale (e.g. attaching cables through a hole on a PCB)
Good computer skills
Good written and spoken English (business language is English)
