Software Engineer Intern (Spring 2027)

As a Software Engineer Intern at Zipline, you will take technical ownership of critical features across Zipline's consumer mobile and web apps, from design through deployment and iteration. You will build features in the React Native mobile codebase or backend services in Python and Go, collaborating cross-functionally to create fast, elegant user-facing features. This internship offers the opportunity to influence the long-term technical roadmap and contribute to engineering best practices within a global drone delivery company.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of critical features across Zipline’s consumer mobile and web apps, from design through deployment and iteration
• Build features in the React Native mobile codebase or backend services in Python and Go
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build user-facing features that are fast, elegant, and grounded in a strong understanding of customer needs
• Influence our long-term technical roadmap and contribute to team-wide engineering best practices

Requirements

• You must have completed the second year of your undergraduate studies. Masters and PhD students are also eligible
• Passion for software development and curiosity to learn new technology stacks
• Strong understanding in computer science fundamentals
• A product mindset and passion for crafting intuitive, delightful customer experiences

Benefits

• The hourly rate for this internship is $50 per hour. Additional benefits may include relocation support, a housing stipend, overtime pay, paid sick time, and other benefits, where applicable and subject to local requirements.
