Reliability Engineer, PSO, Amazon Prime Air, Amazon Prime Air

This role is a Reliability Engineer within Amazon Prime Air's Product Support Organization, focused on ensuring high technical reliability in drone delivery operations. The engineer will investigate system anomalies, lead cross-functional investigations, and drive continuous improvements using data-driven insights. They will work closely with design engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance, translating complex system functions into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• - Investigate drone system performance for anomalies, deliver solutions to operations and maintenance team escalations
• - Lead cross-functional system investigations with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize drone system performance metrics, and drive improvements
• - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights to establish benchmark standards and reduce operational burden
• - Deliver measurable system behavior improvements based on data analysis that impacts customer experience, proactively engaging stakeholders to advocate for customers
• - Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience in data analysis and leveraging analytics to make decisions
• 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis
• Experience in robotics design, automation systems development, control systems design, or related product development ### Preferred qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering
• Experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems
