As an Electrical Test Engineer on the Air Dominance and Strike team, you will create test systems to support all phases of product development, build and test avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests, and manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects. You will participate in design reviews, conduct root cause analysis for vehicle integration and field operations, and work closely with avionics, system, and software engineers to ensure mission-ready solutions for autonomous air platforms.
Responsibilities

- Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
- Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
- Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years in electrical testing lab environment
- Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
- Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Nice to have
- Experienced and familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs
- 5+ years hands on experience in using programming of test software (Python, PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)
- 5+ years design experience with Altium or other ECAD
