As a counter-unmanned systems (c-UxS) analyst, you will bring strategic and technical expertise to work alongside senior leaders in portfolio management on projects that drive policy and defense acquisition decisions. You will assess technical capabilities, evaluate readiness, and analyze doctrine for the DoW with an emphasis on counter-unmanned aircraft systems (c-UAS). You will provide policy-driven solutions, participate in senior executive engagements, and develop reporting tools to monitor c-UxS capabilities against an evolving threat landscape.
Responsibilities
- As a counter-unmanned systems (c-UxS) analyst, you’ll bring your strategic and technical expertise to work alongside senior leaders in portfolio management on projects that drive policy and defense acquisition decisions. You’ll use your skills and expertise to assess technical capabilities, evaluate readiness, and analyze doctrine for the DoW with an emphasis on counter-unmanned aircraft systems (c-UAS).
- Work with us to provide policy-driven solutions, participate in senior executive engagements, and develop reporting tools to monitor c-UxS capabilities against an evolving threat landscape.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working for the DoW, Joint Staff, or Service-level staff office developing executive-level briefings and deliverables
- 2+ years of experience supporting counter-unmanned system (c-UxS) acquisition, policy, sustainment, or resourcing efforts
- Experience developing and routing formal directives, issuances, or congressional responses
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, comprehend the intent of a client’s needs, and help to shape and form solutions by leveraging team capabilities
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice to have
- Experience assessing kinetic and non-kinetic counter-UAS effectors
- Experience with capabilities to find, fix, track, and target small UAS
- Knowledge of counter-UAS solutions for CONUS and OCONUS installations and base protection
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance
- Completion of Defense Acquisition University Systems Acquisition or Defense Industry courses
