We are seeking an experienced Avionics System Safety Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of avionics systems throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to identify hazards, perform safety analyses, and support certification activities.

Responsibilities

Support avionics system safety analyses and V&V activities required for aircraft development.
Perform avionics safety assessments, including SFHA, SSA, FTA, and CMA.
Develop derived safety requirements and collaborate with design teams and suppliers to support design reviews and V&V activities.

Requirements

Knowledge of ARP4761, ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and CAFTA.
Experience with avionics systems (e.g., indicating/recording, navigation, communication, lighting, emergency systems).
Understanding of avionics system certification processes.

Nice to have

Experience with eVTOL, electric aircraft, or next-generation aviation systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
