Flight Control System Engineer - Pilot Control

As a Pilot Controls Engineer, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the pilot control system for an eVTOL aircraft. This role involves project management, technical oversight, and supplier management to ensure successful integration and certification of the system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans for the pilot control system, defining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, avionics, and software development, to ensure project alignment.
• Identify and engage with external suppliers for components related to the pilot control system.
• Monitor supplier performance, address any issues promptly, and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the testing and validation activities for the pilot control system.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of pilot control systems and their integration into aircraft.
• Experience in supplier management and procurement processes.
• Experience with certification activities, such as ARP4754/ ARP4761 compliance

Nice to have

• Experience in human interface design
• Understanding of avionics, flight control systems, and relevant aerospace technologies.
• Experience in identifying, selecting, and managing external suppliers for aerospace components.
