RF / COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER (f/m/d)

Als RF/Communications Engineer (f/m/d) bei Omnisent verstärken Sie das Team und stärken die drahtlose Kommunikationsbasis des Sensornetzwerks gegen Jamming und Spoofing. Sie entwerfen und optimieren LPWAN-Kommunikation, arbeiten mit Sub-GHz-Protokollen, entwickeln Abwehrmaßnahmen gegen Störangriffe und gestalten die Netzwerkarchitektur des verteilten Sensornetzes. Sie arbeiten eng mit dem bestehenden RF-Ingenieur und dem Hardware-Team zusammen.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize low-power wide area network (LPWAN) communication for our IoT sensor network
• Work with sub-GHz communication protocols across our distributed sensor mesh
• Develop and harden systems against jamming and spoofing threats
• Design and optimize networking architecture and routing tables for the sensor mesh
• Collaborate closely with our current RF/communications engineer and hardware team

Requirements

• Strong background in RF engineering, with experience in LPWAN and sub-GHz communication
• Experience with networking fundamentals, including routing table design
• Understanding of jamming/spoofing threats and countermeasures
• Comfortable working within a distributed IoT sensor network architecture
• EU work authorization

Nice to have

• Experience in defense or electronic warfare-adjacent communications
• Background in mesh networking for large-scale sensor deployments
